I captured these images from May 20th to the 25th. The places included Antelope Valley near Lancaster, Division Creek, Sierra Nevada Mts, Alabama Hills-Lone Pine- Mt Whitney, Onion Valley, White Mts - Bristlecone Pine Forest, Bishop, Convict Lake, Hot Creek, Bodie Ghost Town, Mono Lake, Sabrina Lake, and Eureka Dunes - Death Valley.

The unsettled weather during my trip made for some very high winds (Antelope Valley is ALWAYS windy, and this time was no different). A front came through while I was in the Lone Pine - Independence area, and the accompanying wind gusts knocked me off-balance several times while shooting pictures. The good part: I was treated to these tremendously-beautiful lenticular clouds, shown in many of the images. The resulting weather also produced short bursts of snow (see image #130 ) and a temperature of 27 degrees while I was in Bodie a couple days later.
